Ping… ‘halt, touch right, score is 3-5, bout’. You can guess who won, not me for sure. That Saturday was the worst I have ever preformed. My knees were so shaky you would think an earthquake graded 7 was under me. I was nervous, was just shaking I was on the verge of tears all day. Why? I DON’T KNOW!
I preformed my worst since my start of my fencing ‘career’. I only made it to the table of 32’s which means no points for me to climb up the ranking scale, so here I sit at 40 out of around 120 fencers. NOT GOOD!
But we must always be thankful for whatever situation we are in.
∇ I have a feeling I will overcome my nerves and do better next time (i hope so…)
